Multi-level good-deeds-making ^^

One day, someone requested Rasulullah s.a.w to give him an animal for riding. The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) replied that he did not have any. However, a man who was present showed his concern and said that he could show him a person who could help him in the matter. This is how the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) revealed the reward of directing people to good deeds, which is mentioned in this Hadith:

Abu Mas`ud `Uqbah bin `Amr Al-Ansari Al-Badri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said,

“Whoever guides someone to virtue will be rewarded equivalent to him who practices that good action”. [Muslim].

Commentary: It’s like a multi-level marketing strategy. Once you showed good actions, then it’s followed by others, and inshaAllah followed by others, and others, subhanallah, how could we imagine what we’ll get in the hereafter? That’s one good deed. What if you do many? Think about it ^^

ps: as long as you do the good deed because of Allah😉

Thank you for reminding how easy it is to do good deeds. If it’s ok, I would also like to share the hadith below. Coupled with your post, it’s amazing how easy it is to get good marks!

Abdullah bin ‘Abaas (peace be upon him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said that Allah, the Glorious said,
“Verily, Allah Ta’ala has ordered that the good and the bad deeds be written down. Then he explained it clearly how (to write): He who intends to do a good deed but he does not do it, then Allah records it for him as a full good deed, but if he carries out his intention, then Allah the exalted, writes it down for him as from ten to seven hundred folds, and even more. But if he intends to do an evil act and has not done it, then Allah writes it down with him as a full good deed, but if he intends it and has done it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed.”

      subhanallah ^^
that shows how Generous Allah is.. there’s no other could compare how Allah loves us. And we should be grateful and fulfill our duties – which not for Him… but for ourselves, Because of Him! Thanks!
