Alhamdulillah after quite a long break, teachers and students are back to school!
Since it has been two weeks we, teachers didn’t use our energy much (in shouting speaking loudly) the momentum seems ‘deflating’. So we need to rush back to ourselves and get back to our feet.
(testing, testing, aa… aa…)
The first day (Monday)
Students were still in a holiday mood. Didn’t have enough motivation to learn in class. Plus, the electricity were having a problem (again) and the weather were boiling hot! Poor students (and teachers)…
However, alhamdulillah at about 3pm Allah allowed rains to shower on us and the weather cooled down. So during the weekly assembly, they were so energetic in singing Negaraku song, Negeri Johor and School’s songs. How I wish they could put the same energy during the lessons – in study.
And as for me, I should put more efforts and pray a lot so that the students were able to absorb the ‘ilm easily. Ameen!
“Seek knowledge, because seeking it for the sake of Allah is a worship.
And knowing it makes you more God-fearing;
and searching for it is jihad, teaching it to those who do not know is charity,
reviewing and learning it more is like tasbeeh.
Through knowledge Allah will be known and worshipped.
With the knowledge Allah will elevate people and make them leaders and imams, who will in turn guide other people.”
